Technical Foam Services Develops Innovative New Scaffold Foam

Northamptonshire, United Kingdom (8th February, 2013) - Technical Foam Services Ltd, a leading independent engineer-based manufacturer and foam producer, announces the creation of a new scaffold foam.

Technical Foam Services Ltd and their strategic construction partner have been working in unison to develop the Closed Cell PE Scaffold Foam, which uses high density polyethylene foam to offer protection against work equipment damage to decorated surfaces. The scaffold foam also uses a unique water jet cut foam diameter to offer serious impact protection around a site's equipment, such as scaffold towers, steps, ladders and work benches and platforms; therefore, the foam can prevent damage to painted and plastered surfaces and any protruding fixtures or fittings.

The protective foam fitments are produced using a high quality, closed cell polyethylene product with an outside diameter of 250mm, and can simply be pushed onto the tubular section around the scaffolding and fitment within just a few seconds. Once securely fitted, the protection is in place and can simply be removed and stored away once the task is complete.

A spokesperson for Technical Foam Services Ltd commented: "This simple but effective concept is already saving contractors time and money, as well as preventing the need to repair or touch up damaged areas and ensuring a job is done correctly from the outset. The new Closed Cell PE scaffold foam is also suitable for operation with many different types of existing equipment in use."
