Gasner's narrative, celebrated for its exploration of personal transformation, also made way for Acorn Publishing LLC. being named Publisher of the Year.

Additional winners include "Killing Shore: The True Story of Hitler's U-boats Off the New Jersey Coast" by KA Nelson, "Saint Bloodbath" by Frederick Douglass Reynolds, "Black On Madison Avenue" by Mark S Robinson, "Me Power" by LaNysha T Adams, "Delaware Before the Railroads: A Diamond among the States" by Dave Tabler, "Lasting Transformation: A Guide to Navigating Life's Journey" by Abby Rosen PhD, "Run for My Life" by Joseph P Odonnell, "Fever of Unknown Origin: A True Tale of Medicine, Mystery, and Magic" by Judith Ford, and "The Stress Book: Forty-Plus Ways to Manage Stress & Enjoy Your Life" by D Terrence Foster, MD.
